Farm Activities

We have devised the farm activities especially for children and their parents. We begin the day with milking the cow, then feeding baby calves. Next is collecting the eggs from the chickens and putting out food for the pigs, goats, ducks, guinea pigs geese and rabbits. The pony ride follows.

There is a tractor ride too. We visit the further part of the farm and see the bigger animals. The tractor ride is not scheduled every day, but everyone should have at least one ride during their stay.

When the organised activities are finished, children are free to visit whatever parts of the property they choose. The rabbits are popular and children like to handle them. Families often enjoy a walk to a small dam to feed the fish. There is also a trampoline, a basketball court and a large expanse of lawn.

Our guests often bring bats and balls, and kites to enjoy on the expansive lawn. Many also walk our 2.5 Km walk trail, complete with seven bridges, seats, and a picnic area that offers spectacular views. Some guests enjoy catching yabbies and trout in the dam.
